PADI SCUBA DIVER

Become a qualified diver in just one and a half days. The PADI Scuba Diver course is an intermediate step to becoming a certified Open Water Diver. This course includes the three knowledge development sections, three confined water sessions, and two open water dives. You can register with PADI eLearning while at home to save time studying the basic principles of scuba diving. You will need to complete both the knowledge review quizzes and the practical skill assessments. At the end of the course, you’ll get a certificate and be able to dive anywhere under the supervision of a dive instructor to a maximum depth of 12m/40ft. If you’re planning to take the Open Water Diver course later, this course may be credited towards the Open Water Course.

You begin by learning about scuba diving principles and terminology either through PADI eLearning or in the classroom. Through the instruction of a dive professional, you get to know the basics of scuba diving, such as assembling and how to use scuba equipment, buoyancy and safety skills, and how to handle common problems underwater. Also included are five confined water dives and four open water dives. If you’ve done a Scuba Diver course earlier, it may be credited towards this course. Once you’ve satisfactorily completed the practical tests and knowledge review quizzes, you become a certified Open Water Diver.
